PawSociety Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PawSociety is a product of Quantropic Pte. Ltd. ("PawSociety", "we", "us") and provides a mobile application that helps dog owners keep pet health records, log symptoms with evidence, receive general care and outing guidance, find nearby pet services, and prepare emergency information. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to run the features you use.

You provide:

• Account data: email address and password (stored hashed).
• Pet & care content: dog profiles (breed, weight, age, medications, allergies, vaccinations, vet contacts), health logs and notes, reminders.
• Media: photos, videos, documents, and audio notes you add as health evidence or to dog profiles/timelines.

Collected automatically when you use related features:

• Precise location (only while using the app, with your permission) to provide local weather, outing advice, nearby-service search, and to attach your location to an emergency message you choose to send.
• Calendar (only if you enable reminder sync) to add care reminders.
• Product-usage data: limited events such as which actions you take (e.g. emergency actions, AI feature usage) and coarse technical context, used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-app trackers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. How we use information

• Provide and maintain the app's features you use.
• Generate AI-assisted outputs you request (e.g. health-photo guidance, nutrition and breed information, document/audio transcription, outing advice).
• Resolve your location to a readable place and find nearby services.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Health-related content is sensitive. AI features are informational only and are not veterinary diagnosis or treatment (see our Terms).

4. Service providers (data processors)

We share data only with vendors that process it on our behalf to deliver features, under contract and only as needed:

• Google
  • Gemini AI: processes health photos and text you submit to generate AI-assisted results you request.
  • Google Maps Platform (Maps, Places, Geocoding): resolves your coordinates to a readable place and finds nearby pet services. Our use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• OpenAI — generates text outputs (e.g. summaries, nutrition and breed guidance) you request. See OpenAI's privacy policy: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. OpenAI does not use data submitted via its API to train its models by default.
• Hosting/infrastructure — our backend servers store and sync your account data and media.

These providers act as processors; we do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Where your data lives

Your records are stored on your device and synced to your PawSociety account on our servers. Media you submit for AI processing is transmitted to the relevant processor above to produce the result you requested.

6. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active. When you delete content or your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access / export / correct / delete your data.
• Delete your account in-app (Settings), which removes your account and associated personal data.
• Permissions: you can revoke location, calendar, camera, photo, microphone, and notification access at any time in your device settings; related features will stop working.

Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, PIPL/PDPO in your region), you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, and the right to complain to a regulator. Contact info@quantropic.ai.

Our legal bases (GDPR) include performance of our contract with you, your consent (for permissions like location), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

9. Children

PawSociety is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

11. Changes

We will update this policy as the app evolves and will revise the effective date. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email where appropriate.
