PawSociety Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using PawSociety (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. ⚠️ Not veterinary advice (important)

PawSociety provides general information and organizational tools only. It is not a medical device and does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice. AI-assisted features (including health-photo guidance, nutrition and breed information, and outing advice) are informational and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your animal's health.
In an emergency, contact a veterinary professional or emergency service immediately. Do not rely on the App for emergency decisions.
You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your animal's care.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

4. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add (pet profiles, logs, photos, audio, notes). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit it to deliver the features you use (including sending media to our AI and mapping processors as described in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the App, including: reverse-engineering, interfering with its operation, uploading unlawful content, or using it in a way that infringes others' rights.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Some features require a paid subscription ("PawSociety Pro").

Subscriptions are sold as auto-renewable in-app purchases billed through your Apple ID.
Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings.
Prices and plan details are shown in the App before purchase. Any free trial's unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the App's information, including health outcomes.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email and reflected by a new effective date.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer law applies.

12. Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries with the right to enforce these Terms against you.
